Summer wildflower honey is collected from June to the end of July along the coasts of the Ionian belt characterized by high biodiversity consisting mainly of brambles, eucalyptus, pine forests and herbaceous plants of various kinds and species. It is a dark colored product deriving from flower nectar and aphid honeydew. Its flavor is very sweet, delicate and reminiscent of ripe fruit which makes it highly appreciated for sweetening rusks, yogurt herbal teas.
